These options calculator worksheets are only informational in nature and reflect the profitability of trades based on execution of contracts without consideration of transaction costs (in the case of standard options). In live market scenarios premiums will tend to be slightly higher at purchase and decay (lose value) all else equal as the contract approaches expiration.
